Job Duties:

Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, side by side utility vehicles, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders. Perform soil tillage, planting, seed drilling, cultivation, irrigation, fertilizer application and harvesting duties on our organic farm. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine.Farming with: Corn, Rye, Soy Beans

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
