Job Duties:

Set, operate and maintain farm equipment to plant, spray, harvest, and haul grain and bean crops. Assist during calving season, and general cattle well being. Move cattle to and from various summer grazing pastures. General shop work, farm maintenance and related duties pertaining to grain farming operations such as picking rocks, equipment, maintaining farm structures. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools or farm workers. Crops: Canola, Dry Peas, Durum, Spring Wheat

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
