- We are a progressive family-owned farm, we have 5500 acres row crop (corn and soybeans) almost entirely irrigated, and 500 acres of hay. We use mostly John Deere equipment, (2) S680 combines, 4940 sprayers, Tractors- 8310R, 9220, 8430, 8320, & 8300. We also have some Cat equipment for doing dirt work, a 938k payloader, D6N dozer, 299D skid steer, & 324C excavator. Our farm trucks are all 2008 models (3) Kenworth t800s, and a Peterbilt 387. We mainly use these trucks to haul grain, hay, fertilizer, and manure. We strive to keep our equipment and our entire operation in clean working order. We have a workshop where we can work on our equipment. We need good farm equipment operators. You will be doing tillage work, possibly planting, or spraying in the spring, then we will start irrigating, we have 33 center pivots and 4 miles of pipe on gravity irrigation. In the fall you will be operating either a truck hauling grain, a grain cart, or a combine. We will be cutting, raking, baling, stacking, and hauling hay throughout the summer (mostly large round bales but we will have some large square bales). Employees will need to complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and complete general farm duties as assigned. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial trucking is required.
