- Job Duties:
- Planting: Prepare soil and plant seeds or seedlings of tomato, squash, cucumber, corn, and beans according to specifications. Irrigation: Set up and operate irrigation systems to ensure proper crop growth. Crop Maintenance: Weed, stake, prune, and thin plants to promote healthy development. Pest and Disease Control: Monitor crops and apply treatments as needed following safety regulations. Harvesting: Handpick crops, sort them according to size and quality standards. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors and sprayers. General Maintenance: Repair fences, irrigation systems, and farm structures. Keep the work area clean and organized.
