Job Duties:

Drives/operates farm machinery, plant, cultivate, spray, fertilize, harvest, store grain crops. Attach farm implements, e.g. plow, disc, drill to tractor, till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tows harvesting equipment, drives/operates self-propelled combine to harvest crops. Setup and modify combines that come directly from the factory floor, changing concaves, rear axles, and adding in GPS guidance systems. Performs duties like field servicing, lubricating, repairing farm machinery and maintaining equipment and transporting product to elevator or storage area. Labor intensive tasks such as rock picking, maintaining fences and other farm structures.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of (3) months experience required. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. Class A license preferred. High school diploma/GED required. Proficient in speaking and reading Dutch and/or German to communicate with the maker of the combine. Ability to learn and use agricultural technology.
