- Job Duties:
- Cultivating certified organic mixed vegetables- planting, seeding, thinning, weeding, watering, and harvesting mixed vegetables in the field and high tunnel production. Planting, seeding, thinning, weeding, watering, strawberries. Drying and curing garlic in July and August. May operate machinery and do repair work. Care of poultry and poultry products including, feeding, watering and moving pasture raised broilers and turkeys. Processing the poultry once a week. The broilers are raised in Joel Salatin style chicken tractors which are moved once a day. The broilers and turkeys are raised only on pasture between May and November, we do not produce them any other time of year. 1 months experience in duties listed required.
