Job Duties:

Shuttle Driver (Bus) Duties & Tasks Description (SOC Code 53-3053 - Shuttle Drivers and Chauffeurs). Drivers are responsible for safely transporting farmworkers to and from work sites and other locations and various driving duties related to farm operations. This role requires the operation of buses and passenger vehicles, including shuttle buses and company cars, to transport farmworkers from employer-provided housing or centralized pick-up points to work sites and back. Drivers must adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards. Drivers must perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles are in good working condition, checking the tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment. They must complete accident reports when necessary, comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely and courteously, and ensure passengers follow safety regulations. Driver may drive over the road.

Special Requirements:

3 months experience as shuttle driver required. Driver's license with passenger endorsements required. Must be able to pass DOT (Department of Transportation) recognized medical exam and fulfill all other DOT requirements. Medical exam (including drug test) at no cost to the employee or employer may be required. The employer will be responsible for the cost of the registration as an FLCE driver (if any).
