Job Duties:

On a farm, assist in the application of manure fertilizer and maintenance of farming equipment. Duties will include fertilizer application and preventative maintenance of same. Employees will be expected to use hand and power tools, as well as operate and perform maintenance on tractors and other farming equipment. Job duties will include mowing, spraying, and pulling weeds, applying manure fertilizer, and carrying out tasks aligned with preventative maintenance of same equipment. Duties may include the construction and repair of livestock buildings, confinements, and shops on farms. Employees must be able to operate small and large tractors. Employees must also be able to withstand working long hours in and around strong fertilizer odors, including manure, and be able to tolerate extreme temperatures.
