Job Duties:

Function loaders, augers, and conveyers for unloading grain trucks/rail cars into storage facilities at harvest; Manually dump grain such as corn from grain trucks and semis with hopper bottom trailers during harvest; Sweep spilled corn, clean pits, receive area, and corn; Measure corn bins, weigh trucks, pull grain samples, clean boot pits; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Weigh containers and record weights and identifying information.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
