Job Duties:

Grading and sorting of Potatoes. Cleaning washing of equipment, washing potato storage and washing potato equipment. Operation of potato loading equipment, bin piler, conveyors & harvesters. Sweeping & shoveling. Operating skid steer tractors, forklift operation. Truck Driving - tri-axle singe body trucks. General operation of large tractors for tillage. Manual Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks including upkeep and maintenance of farm facilities. Assist with general farm duties such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the farm environment, facilities, and animals. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding work hours and breaks. Employment may be terminated for the following reasons: Repeated absenteeism or tardiness, Violation of safety protocols, Failure to perform job duties satisfactorily, Misconduct or insubordination and Substance abuse on the job and operating machinery and vehicles.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
