- Job Duties:
- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, fertilize, harvest and haul small grain and soybean crops. Bale and stack hay. Transport agricultural inputs such as chemicals, seed and fertilizer. Load, unload and transport crops. Operate grain cart. Fix and repair fencing. Perform routine maintenance to farming equipment and make infield repairs when necessary. General farm upkeep duties such as facility maintenance and shop work.
