Job Duties:

The farm work position includes duties associated with the picking of hot peppers. This work can require standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for long periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions. It also includes making important decisions in the field based on fruit size, fruit color, and the ripeness of fruit in accordance to prescribed standards. The farm workers are requires adherence to food safety standards, food quality standards, and operating procedures with the ability to work quickly and consistently alongside fellow workers. Workers are also required to operate with a positive, professional, team-based attitude and with consideration for the safety and health of their fellow workers and of the end useds who is the consumers who will purchase and consume produce grown, harvested, packed, and shipped from this farm.
