- Job Duties:
- Front Line Supervisor to perform the following duties • Coordinate with managers to make operational decisions. • Communicate with field personnel regarding plans, procedures, or schedules. • Coordinate with managers to determine productivity requirements, conditions of equipment and supplies, and work schedules. • Plan work schedules according to personnel and equipment availability. • Schedule work crews, equipment, or transportation for different work locations. • Monitor operations to identify and solve problems, improve work methods, and ensure compliance with safety, company, and government regulations. • Monitor workers to ensure that safety and food safety regulations are followed, work with management and HR to identify and begin disciplinary process for workers who violate safety and food safety regulations. • Record productivity data. • Review and approve timekeeping records to solve discrepancies with payroll department. • Evaluate quality of work completed. • Train workers in the work being performed, the use of safety and food safety measures, and in the use of equipment and/or tools. • Inspect equipment to determine condition or maintenance needs. • Maintain inventories of material, equipment and/or tools. • Other supervisor duties as assigned.

- Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a field supervisor of vegetable harvest and row crop cleaning crews. Specific requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and being able to use hand tools, including cutting knives. Ability to walk on uneven ground and field conditions, bend, stretch, and raise arms, work as a team with all co-workers.
