Job Duties:

Job duties include receiving crop for drying and storage at grain storage facility; transporting grain from fields to grain bins; loading and unloading grain into trucks while keeping grain level; operating tractors, GPS equipment, augers, and grain conveying equipment; monitoring grain moisture levels; preparing scale tickets; shoveling grain; sweeping and scooping in bins. Manual duties include but are not limited to performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of grain bins and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; regularly servicing equipment; and mowing and weed eating around the bin site. Equipment that employees will operate includes but is not limited to tractors with various implements and grain monitors. Non CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and engage in various general functions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements:

Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, or bending.
