Job Duties:

This is a general farm laborer position. Employees will work on a farm for a farmer maintaining farm systems and grain handling components such as grain bins, augers, dryers, etc. Workers will also assemble/install/service equipment used for grain harvesting while using hand tools and power tools. Workers may operate various types of equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, or pickup trucks to transport. The employee must be comfortable working at heights, as the position may involve tasks that require working above the ground. Farming with: Agricultural Drainage

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Must be able to speak, understand, and read English at a basic level of literacy.
