Job Duties:

We are currently needing an employee for farming and irrigation of corn, wheat and triticale utilizing flood irrigation. Also helping out around the farm. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, skid steers, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, hay, wheat.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
