Job Duties:

Prepare soil and fields for hay planting using tractors and implements Plant and maintain hay crops such as alfalfa, timothy, Bermuda grass, or mixed grasses Monitor crop health, irrigation schedules, and pest control measures Operate and maintain equipment for cutting, raking, baling, and stacking hay Safely transport and store hay in barns or designated areas Perform general maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment and property Assist with weather monitoring to time hay cutting and baling optimally Feed, water, and provide daily care for horses Groom horses, including brushing, bathing, and mane/tail maintenance Muck out stalls and maintain clean, safe stable environments Monitor horses’ health and behavior; report any signs of illness or injury
