Job Duties:

Must be able to stand in one place for several hours per day at a table while sorting corn by size, maturity, color and other criteria. Must be able to work long hours - majority of the workday is spent on one's feet where conditions will be hot and humid. Hours and days of work may vary due to weather conditions. Will not be required to operate machinery but need to wear steel toed shoes and hard hats; may work in the off-duty hours of the other workers including until midnight. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 80 lbs. Cleaning, sampling, painting, forklift operations, material handling, pallet sorting, manual stacking/unstacking of product, and monitoring automated equipment – warehouse, packaging, depal, conditioning tower, and harvest prep. All workers may be required to submit to random drug tests at the discretion of the employer. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
