Job Duties:

Workers will perform a range of duties related to general farm operations. Responsibilities include unloading and loading trucks, cleaning and digging out grain bins, working with livestock, picking up grain (feed) from other farms, and performing general farm duties. Additional tasks involve screening grain and operating equipment such as an end loader, skid loader, lawn mower, and grain vac. All work must be performed in accordance with safety guidelines and under various weather conditions. The role requires manual labor, heavy lifting, and equipment operation.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to: lift up to 75lbs. be in a confined space with mask on. The workers will experience exposure to extreme outdoor temps, and they may have to climb to check bins, frequently bend, stoop, and dig. The workers must pass a drug screen, obtain an Iowa driver's license within 30 days, and speak and understand some English. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
