Job Duties:
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand. Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress. Drive to town to pickup supplies. Pick dirt clods and vines from the potatoes as they move across conveyor belts within the farms' potato buildings. Scrape vines and dirt off conveyor belts. The 4 potato buildings located on the farm will be swept and vacuumed including the floor surface and air floor vent areas. Workers will need to sweep and vacuum on a floor creeper in the venting area. After dirt is removed, the surfaces will be washed and disinfected with water using a pressure washer. Farming with: Chickpeas, Corn, Dry Peas, Grain, Hay, Potatoes, Sugar Beets

Special Requirements:
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company
