- Job Duties:
- Equipment & Picker Maintenance Support - Support staff in servicing, repairs, and adjustments on farm equipment, picker and hop house. Inspecting specialized equipment and identify errors or problems. Performing general physical activities with considerable use of legs and arms. Hop Top Cutter: Harvest Top Cutter - Operates specialized equipment. At 15 feet above ground level engages sickle blades to cut the top of the strings and hop bines from the trellis. Where the bines then fall into a truck that is pushed but the top cutter in the field. When truck is full of bines the top cutter will compress the load in the truck for safe driving to the picker.
