Job Duties:

Water rice and check levees. Fence maintenance needed. Sort, feed, move, and rotate cattle as needed. Clean brush. Operate and repair farm equipment/vehicles as needed. Field preparations; water maintenance; manual shovel work; hoe weeds; spot spray; cut grass; make hay; buildings/equipment maintenance; maintain road/shop; unload/load trucks. Job involves frequent stooping and exposure to extreme temps. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an addition 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wages may be paid based on experience. Unpaid vacation may be offered; bonus may be offered.

Special Requirements:

2 months experience in the job duties listed. Drug testing may be conducted after hire and at employers expense. Employer performs post-hire random drug screening on all employees due to the work being performed in close proximity to large farm equipment as well as an array of tools with blades or sharp edges that the worker may come into contact with while performing required job duties. The drug screening is to ensure the safety of all employees.
