Job Duties:

We are a dairy that crops 10,000 acres. We primarily grow corn for grain & silage, alfalfa and apply manure to the fields from the dairy. Our equipment primarily consists of John Deere, Case and Kenworth . Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, clean work areas, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags, clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping, haul and spread manure, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, skid steers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, hay, silage.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain a Class D operator's license with the Farm "F" endorsement
