Job Duties:

We need an employee to assist our farming operation with corn and soybean harvest through the fall of 2025. The candidate will be responsible for operating equipment such as a semi, grain cart and tractor, and a combine. Must be willing to work overtime if asked, and on weekends. additional skills such as welding or the ability to repair equipment are a bonus. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; inform farm managers of plants or crops progress; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain inventory; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, grain carts, semi trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: corn, soybeans. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
