- Job Duties:
- Perform duties on a farm for a farm like: Drive and operate harvesting machines or custom cutting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oil-seed crops from clients’ farms. Adjust speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drive heavy trucks to transport produce to elevator or storage areas. Drive transporter trucks to haul harvesting machine between work sites. Service machinery and make incidental in-field repairs. General service to equipment like regular oil checks, and making sure equipment is safe to operate

- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Expensive tools and equipment and the presence of children on the farm. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
