- Job Duties:
- Crops: Strawberry Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors and irrigation equipment. Drive and operate farm machinery to till soil and plant and cultivate crops. Drive a tractor to disc and till up the soil. Assist in irrigating the crops by laying out poly pipe, poking holes, and digging. Also, fill the irrigation power units with fuel as well as the tractors. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools or farm workers. Workers may also perform weeding. The employer attests that any thinning, hoeing, weeding, or hand-weeding work will be performed in compliance with 8 Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c).

- Special Requirements:
- 3 months of experience as Agricultural Equipment Operator (Tractor Driver). Workers must have a valid, insurable drivers license or be eligible to apply for same at no cost to the worker. Will be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. Specific requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and being able to use hand tools, including cutting knives. Cannot be color blind due to the need to distinguish colors of crops. Must be able to work under conditions where skin and clothing become heavily soiled with mud, water, grease, etc. Applicants must furnish verifiable job references or comparable third-party documentation from recent employers to establish acceptable prior experience. This requirement will be applied equally to all new foreign and domestic candidates.
