Job Duties:
Job duties will include, but are not limited to: Row crop and dry land farming. Preparing soil – mostly strip tillage for irrigated corn. All dryland acres are no till for all crops. Assist with setting up of irrigation systems Assist with checking and maintenance of farming equipment like tractors, planters, sprayers and irrigation systems to ensure it is operational before planting. Drive and operate machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Assist with planting of corn, sugar beets and dry beans Assist with irrigation of crops Attach farm equipment to tractor, trucks and combines. Service sprinklers and close wheel tracks Assist with harvesting of wheat in summer and corn, beets, and dry beans in fall General manual labor for farm operation – carry bags of grain, load, and unload trucks. General equipment maintenance Crops: corn, sugar beets and dry edible beans

Special Requirements:
Minimum of three months verifiable experience. Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30-90 days of hire. Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Work is being done outside, and workers will be exposed to extreme temperatures, humid conditions and sometimes severe weather. No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles. All tools are provided by the employer.
