Job Duties:

Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair equipment, pens, yards, worksite, and fences inspect, store commodities; repair and maintain equipment, fences, buildings, and other farm structures; mix materials; operate self propelled machinery; operate, repair irrigation; drive equipment to load commodities, inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities; Operate self propelled equipment including tractors, planters, harvesters to assist with the production of winter wheat. This includes spraying, tillage, planting, fertilizing and harvesting. Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment, Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
