Job Duties:
Responsibilities include fencing, checking cattle, breaking ice, hauling water, loading/unloading salt, minerals, and protein tubs. Workers will maintain equipment and help to gather, work, and process cattle. Job duties may include operating semi-trucks to haul agricultural commodities (corn) from Kuenning Family Farms’ storage to K Cattle’s feedlots as needed to feed cattle. No highway driving will be required, as the farm storage is within 20 miles of the feedlot and is hauled via county roads. Kuenning Family Farms is a sister entity to K Cattle and K Cattle purchases corn for the feedlot from Kuenning Family Farms. Additional duties may include operating pickups and ATVs on employer owned feedlot.

Special Requirements:
This is an active position that requires the workers to be outdoors in all-weather elements for our area. Three (3) months of agricultural experience required, including basic knowledge of handling cattle and feedlot experience. Ability to drive a vehicle, pickup truck, tractor, and/or payloader. Basic mechanical skillset required. Training is provided for tasks that are new to employees. Workers must be able to lift 75 lbs.
