- Job Duties:
- Workers will assist with seasonal and year-round agricultural tasks at BJJ Engstrom Farm, focusing on dry edible bean and barley operations. Duties include operating farm machinery such as tractors, combines, planters, sprayers, and semi-trucks (manual and automatic). Workers will support fieldwork like tillage, planting, harvesting, pest control, irrigation management, and equipment maintenance. They will also work in the processing and pearling plant, performing tasks such as cleaning, grading, bagging, and following HACCP guidelines. Forklift operation, grain handling, and maintaining cleanliness in farm facilities are required. Occasional livestock care (feeding, cleaning, health checks) may be assigned. Termination Clause: Employment is at-will. However, performance or conduct issues will typically follow an escalatory disciplinary process: (1) Written Warning, (2) Final Notice, and (3) Termination. This process ensures fairness and clarity but does not change the employer's right to terminate employment at any time under applicable laws.

- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
