- Job Duties:
- The worker will perform a variety of duties on a beef feedlot and crop operation. Tasks include operating and maintaining farm machinery (tractors, combines, sprayers, skid steers, grain carts) for tillage, planting, spraying, harvesting, and hay cutting. Worker must perform equipment servicing (oil changes, filter replacements) and minor repairs. Duties include feeding livestock, monitoring rations, assisting with calving, veterinary support, and maintaining clean facilities. Worker must also manage irrigation systems, perform herbicide/pesticide applications, weld/fabricate as needed, and handle grain using augers and elevators. Must possess ability to work independently and in teams, follow safety and operational instructions, and complete physical tasks including lifting and bending. Employment is “at-will,” and termination may occur for cause including violation of safety protocols, poor performance, or failure to meet productivity standards. All tasks are essential to seasonal operations and subject to change due to weather or crop conditions.

- Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
