Job Duties:
Workers on this application must follow all production protocols and procedures to maximize sow and gilt production & efficiencies. The workers must be willing to learn specialized skills necessary for smooth workflow and become a skilled employee in animal husbandry in order to reduce stress of herd and maximize production. Employees will follow daily task sheets in the department to achieve production targets, complete production paperwork accurately and timely, adhere to all bio-security protocols, and give input to lead person in area for items out of compliance. Workers will be expected to work with other team employees in a designated area to ensure bio-security audit deficiencies are corrected and brought into compliance in a timely basis. Workers may assist supervisors in communicating information regarding work duties and requirements and instructing other workers in and related work activities. Workers may serve as the lead worker in small crews. Workers will work on their feet in bent, stooped and crouched positions and on ladders up to ten (10) feet in height for long periods of time. Employees must be able to lift and carry materials or equipment with a weight of 75 pounds frequently throughout the workday. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Workers may be required to work during rain conditions that are not severe enough to stop operations. Workers should be physically able to do the work required. Workers will be expected to work on days that are deemed workable by Employer's management. Disciplinary action may be taken if worker does not show up for work due to stated conditions. Workers are expected to be at work on time every day work is available and to work the full workday as specified in this job order.

Special Requirements:
1 month experience required in agricultural livestock care. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures. Background check conducted through ADP if worker has a U.S Social Security Number. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary. Employer reserves the right after employment to ask any employee at the employer's expense to take a blood or urine test to determine whether he/she is under the influence of controlled substances, illegal drugs or alcohol. Any employee who declines to take or fails this drug test will be terminated and paid for all hours worked, if any.
