Job Duties:

Drives and operates specialized mechanical land clearing John Deere tractors with attached equipment, (95%). Operator is required to do daily maintenance to equipment, (5%). All tools and equipment to be supplied by Cherryfield Foods, Inc. Applicant should have 3 months experience as an mechanized agricultural equipment operator. You will not be supervising other employees.

Special Requirements:

Anticipated range of hours for different seasonal activities: Nine hours per day is normal. Workers may be offered more than the specified work in a single day. The worker may be requested but not required to work 12-14 hours per day and/or on the Sabbath or Federal holidays depending on the conditions in the fields, weather, and maturity of the crop. Worker may be requested to work Saturday and Sunday during peak times and special needs but not required. These requirements pertain to both H-2A and U.S. workers. Extreme heat, cold or drought may affect working hours. Employee may work 63 to 80 hours based on special work schedule situations weather and crop conditions permitting.
