- Job Duties:
- There will be a demonstration period to familiarize workers with specific jobs and to demonstrate proper methods of working. *Field Maintenance: Cleaning previously harvested fields *Harvesting: Following established company procedures, workers will: Transport trees on trailers and load them onto trucks, exercising care to avoid damage. *Post-Harvest Duties: Clean-up of farm and staging areas, including the removal of debris, roots, and stumps. *Safety Protocol: Items weighing over 50 pounds must be lifted by two or more people. After harvesting, trees are transported to a staging area, individually bailed, and hand-loaded onto trucks for delivery to various wholesale or vendor locations. CHRISTMAS TREE OPERATIONS: Work in cold, wet weather; Lift and carry 75-80lb(50lbs and above; assistance may be used) trees continuously throughout the day; Bundle trees, prepare for transport, and load into containers; Field work and clean up * see Job duties 1.2
