Job Description

- Job Duties:
- • Operate combine to harvest corn and soybeans efficiently and safely • Operate tractors with grain carts to transport grain from combine to semi-trailers or bins • Assist in moving and setting up augers and grain handling equipment • Load and unload grain into hopper bottom trailers, grain bins, or at elevator sites • Monitor and manage grain flow during loading to prevent spillage or contamination • Operate tillage equipment (e.g., chisel plow, ripper, field cultivator) to prepare fields post-harvest • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance (greasing, fluid levels, etc.) • Assist with repairs and general upkeep of tractors, implements, grain handling equipment, and shop tools • Communicate with other operators and drivers to maintain smooth harvest flow • Assist with equipment moves between fields and general harvest logistics • Support additional field tasks as needed (e.g., fueling, cleanup, equipment prep)
