- Mucking out stalls and maintaining clean, sanitary bedding Preparing and distributing feed according to individual horse diets Cleaning and refilling water buckets and automatic waterers Grooming and bathing horses to maintain coat health and cleanliness Cleaning and maintaining tack and other equipment Applying leg bandages and wraps as needed Tacking up horses for exercise, training, or veterinary appointments Providing basic first aid for minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and abrasions
