Job Duties:

Duties include moving and spacing container plants of various sizes, setting down container plants of various sizes, weeding, herbicide application, consolidating container plants of various sizes, cleaning plant rows and bed, laying down ground cover, pruning plants, planting plants wither at a work station or on potting machines, cutting bamboo and staking plant material, loading and unloading of plant material for customers, taking cuttings of various plant material, filling cell trays for propagation, and any other general farm related activities that one would expect to occur on a working farm. This job will be done under extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.
