Job Duties:

Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading cattle. Examining animals to detect diseases, injuries and ensure optimum health of the herd. Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides. Drive farm trucks, tractor, and feed wagon to distribute food to the cattle. Moving and storing hay on the ranch with tractor and baler. Will harvest corn and bean crops throughout the fall months. Assist with other daily feedlot maintenance as needed.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of three months verifiable experience. Workers must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Job duties require physical and manual labor that might require workers to push or pull, sit or walk extensively, frequent stooping or bending over and some movements might be repetitive. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 50 lbs. Most work is performed outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme temperatures and winter conditions like snow, blizzards and rain. No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles. All tools will be provided by the employer.
