- Job Duties:
- Workers will perform manual labor for hothouse/greenhouse tomato and cucumber crop work in all stages for various crop varietals from crop start to crop end. Duties including, but are not limited to, defleaing agriculture crops to accelerate ripening, greenhouse cleaning, hand harvesting vegetables, tying and securing plants, cleaning work area, planting, cultivating crops, irrigating crops, driving a power bee, packaging produce, weighing, sorting, sanitation according to food handling guidelines, forklift operating, stacking product, greenhouse preparation, sweeping, cleaning, lifting gutters, placing growbags on gutters, pulling out tarps, removing organic material, lowering, clipping, pruning, and plant protection, or any other crop related activities or other tasks or duties assigned to such workers. Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time. In order to perform this kind of work, the worker must be in possession of the requisite physical strength and endurance to perform duties effectively, working quickly and skillfully with their hands. The activities will be performed under extreme weather conditions such as heat and/or cold weather. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.

- Applicants must have 3 months experience in tomato, cucumber or similar greenhouse crops. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. The employer is a drug-free workplace and has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace and in the employer-provided housing.
