- Job Duties:
- Employees will perform duties in the potato warehouse such as loading trucks and railcars; sorting, grading, and disposing of rotten or poor-quality potatoes; stacking pallets of bagged potatoes; and operating a Bobcat around the warehouse as needed. They will also perform routine and preventive maintenance on potato grading and sorting equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation throughout the season. This includes inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and repairing conveyor belts, rollers, motors, screens, and other mechanical or electrical components used in the grading process. Employees will monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards. In addition to equipment maintenance, employees will also be responsible for the general upkeep and cleaning of the warehouse to ensure that the work area remains clean, safe, and well organized. This includes removing debris, sweeping and washing floors, organizing storage areas, and performing minor repairs to the facility as needed. Employees may also assist in the shipment process of farm products. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely at the discretion of the employer.

- Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, or walking.
