- Job Duties:
- Crops: Broccoli and cabbage. Duties may include: Harvesting: Workers will walk behind field pack machines, bend to near ground level and cut commodity with knife after determining the quality is acceptable. Workers will then pitch commodity into conveyor machine. Workers will check quality and put it into boxes. Workers will use plastic bags to pack commodities, then seal them with tape. Workers will stack boxes onto pallets. Field work: Workers will be planting, cultivating, pulling or hoeing weeds in vegetable fields, carrying and connecting irrigation pipes, tilling soil, thinning, counting and checking crops. Include driving and controlling equipment such as tractors to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Workers’ duties can also include moving materials which can and may include bending, lifting, and carrying objects from point A to point B. Workers will perform these and any other duties associated with fieldwork and vegetable production & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).

- Must be 18 years of age. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 40lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.
