Job Duties:

Workers will be planting, picking, and packing sweet potatoes by hand according to size, shape, maturity level, and/or ripeness in the sweet potato fields. Also workers will be pulling, planting, and setting onions in the onion fields. Other duties may include but not be limited to performing field maintenance, repairing and installing irrigation lines in the fields, and/or laying plastic/mulch in the fields. Pay rate for all aspects of planting, picking, and packing sweet potatoes will be on an hourly rate of $16.08 per hour. Pay rate for planting/setting onions will be on a piece rate of $3.25 per 100 ft, 4-ply row, with a minimum wage guarantee of $16.08 per hour. All other duties for this work order will be paid on an hourly rate of $16.08 per hour; 35 hour per week; must be able to work the entire period; must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs; All tools will be provided at no cost to the workers.
