Job Duties:

Job duties include storage facility, packinghouse, shop and farm maintenance. Workers will maintain potato storages, potatoes in storage, refrigeration units and heaters. They will maintain and fix potato wash and grading line. They will work in maintenance shop. Workers will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. They will operate and maintain power tools, welders, and fabrication equipment. They will also perform daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, conveyors, planters, sprayers, etc.). They may maintain and repair irrigation systems, wheels, motors, pumps, and piping. Workers will assist with general farm infrastructure maintenance, including buildings and storage facilities, and overall property upkeep. They must ensure equipment is safe, clean, and properly stored. They will keep maintenance logs and records of work completed and follow safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
