- Job Duties:
- Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Examine animals to detectillness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain.Maintain heated watering system. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery,buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectantsolutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Mix feed, additives, and medicines inprescribed portions. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons.Remove ice formed in water. Drive pick-up truck to town for cattle supplies on occasion.Farming with: Beef Cattle, Feedlot

- Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
