Job Duties:

Operating rice mill machinery which consists of the cleaning, processing and bagging of rice. Operating forklift. Load and unload bagged rice. Daily activities include job duties like cleaning and incidental upkeep of equipment and worksite.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of three months verifiable experience. Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30-90 days of hire. Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive. Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Most work is performed indoors, but workers will be exposed to extremely cold temperatures and wet conditions if performing work outside the mill. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Positive testing or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Employer has zero alcohol and smoking policy on the entire farm. No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles. All tools are provided by the employer.
