- Job Duties:
- Move cattle from large-acreage seasonal pastures into winter facilities at the beginning of the snowy/cold weather period. Care for cattle during the cold weather when they require additional care due to cold temperatures and confinement. Medicate, treat for sickness and isolate sick calves. Feed cattle during snowy/subfreezing periods when no pasturelands remain available for them to naturally graze upon. Remove snow from farm property and clean/shovel feed bunks. Operate and maintain feed truck, break ice formation on water tanks daily, provide salt/mineral daily.
