- Cow calf operation. Feeding of cows and getting ready for calving. And fencing and letting animals out to summer pasture. December through April Farming. Setting up for seeding maintenance on seeders and sprayers. April through May Planting of crops wheat and sorghum. May through June Spraying of crops and field cultivation during year June through July . Harvest of crops wheat and sorghum. August to October.
