Job Duties:
We are a dairy cattle and row crop farming operation running 100,000 milking cattle and 10,000 plus acres. We have a large need for help tending to livestock in winter and wet months of spring when the work load is large. we have a large amount of equipment to maintain and farming operations that are hand in hand with supporting our cattle operation. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; construct facilities; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, irrigation equipment, manure spreading equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, spreaders, straight frame trucks, tillage equipment, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, hay, potatoes, silage, wheat. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
