Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in Soc Code 53-3032 Heavy Tractor and Trailer Truck Drive for delivering grain to elevators such as: Drive semi-trailer combination to deliver grain to market ports; Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure; Maneuver into loading and unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned; Drive to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations; Plan or adjust routes based on changing winter conditions such as ice, sleet, snow; Perform safety checks and inspections as well as related repairs; Load and unload grain trucks.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
