Job Duties:

Drive Semi-trucks with capacities greater than 13 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, livestock, and grain. Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers Load agricultural products into hopper bottom trailers without over or under filling and drive to market and ports pulling the trailer with a semi-truck; Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops and brooms for duties such as emptying trailers and storage facilities of grain. Must be able to work in dusty conditions; Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment; Must possess a CDL. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive grain trucks. Be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
